1. Unscrew the nut and bolt holding the inner throttle cable on the spring-loaded drum on the carburetor, remove the cable from the groove on the drum and pull it together with the outer cable from the mount on the carburetor bracket.
2. Working in the cabin, disconnect the tip of the cable from the gas pedal. Pull the cable into the passenger compartment while helping it pass through the rubber grommet in the bulkhead of the engine compartment. Remove cable from machine.
3. Before installing a new cable, lubricate the inner cable with engine oil.
4. Install the cable in the reverse order. Before tightening the clamping bolt of the inner cable, check that the latter is correctly positioned in the groove on the spring-loaded drum (see photo). Tighten the clamping bolt with nut and check that the throttle valve is fully closed when the gas pedal is released. If necessary, adjust the position of the inner cable, after slightly loosening the clamping bolt with nut.
