When purchasing a used car, you should check the functioning of the indicators and warning lights on the instrument panel.

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. Disconnect the speedometer cable 2 together with the spherical tip 1 (see illustration).

3. Lower the steering wheel down.

4. Remove switch 3 of the headlight leveling adjuster from its seat and unscrew bolts 4 and 5 (see illustration).

5. Remove cover 6 and unscrew bolt 7 located underneath it (see illustration 8.4).

6. Remove the instrument panel visor 8 (see illustration 8.4).



7. Unscrew the two bolts 9 and remove their nuts 10 (see illustration).

8. Unscrew screws 11 that hold the central deflector grille and remove the grille (see illustration 8.7).

9. Unscrew the two 12 screws and remove the clock or display (see illustration).

10. Unscrew the two bolts 13 and remove the bracket 14, then unscrew the two bolts 15 securing the instrument panel (see illustration 8.9)

11. Bring the instrument cluster 16 into the passenger compartment, disconnect the connectors from its rear side and remove the cluster (see illustration).

The installation of the instrument panel is carried out in the reverse order of its removal.
