5. Remove the alternator drive belt, see the relevant chapter.
6. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the power steering pump pulley (see illustration).

7. Release the air conditioning compressor wiring harness and refrigerant circulation pipes from the holders, and then move the compressor to the side together with its bracket 1, without disconnecting the pipes from the compressor (see illustration).

8. Remove the supply air duct 2 (see illustration 4.7).
9. Disconnect the wires from terminals 3 on the back of the generator (see illustration).

10. Unscrew the four generator mounting bolts 4 and remove the generator (see illustration 4.9).
The generator is installed in the reverse order of removal. It is also recommended to replace the generator belt, because if you had to dismantle the generator, the belt has "worked" for a sufficient amount of time.
11. Install the generator drive belt and adjust its tension.
