7. Install the seal 7 (see illustration 3.6) to its mounting location on the fuel tank.

8. Install the fuel pump together with the fuel gauge sensor in its mounting location.

9. Make sure that arrow 8 on the pump body is aligned with marks 9 on the fuel tank (see illustration).

10. Screw on the ring nut and tighten it to 30 Nm.

11. When the parts are seated correctly, mark 10, arrow 8 on the pump body and mark 9 on the fuel tank should be aligned. If mark 10 is in position A, tighten the ring nut so that arrows 8 and 9 are aligned. If mark 10 is in position B, unscrew the nut and check the correct seating of the parts (see illustration).
