10. After removing the fuel tank, check the hoses and fuel lines connected to it for leaks and connection strength, wear and mechanical damage. Also check the sealing gaskets of the fuel pump, sensor and shut-off valve, as well as the integrity of the fuel tank. Replace damaged parts and tighten loose ones.

11. Drain the remaining fuel from the tank and rinse it with water, preferably warm.

12. Replace the tank with a new one if it turns out to be rusty.

Attention! After washing the tank, the water should be drained completely, because its remains will cause rust.


The fuel tank is installed in the reverse order of removal.

13. When lifting the tank, make sure that none of the hoses are pinched and that all pipes and hoses are correctly routed and securely fastened.

14. Pour a small amount of fuel into the tank and check the tightness of all connections.
