Cars with DK5ATE engine
1. Unscrew the mounting bolts 2 and remove the chamber 1 and its sealing gasket (see illustration). Tightening torque of bolts 10 Nm.
4.1 Unscrew the mounting bolts 2 and remove the chamber 1 and its sealing gasket
2. Loosen clamps 3 and 4 on the EGR hose, then loosen clamp 3 as much as possible (see illustration). Tightening torque of clamp bolts is 5 Nm.
4.2 Loosen clamps 3 and 4 on the EGR hose
3. Remove the intake manifold together with the mechanical valve 6 of the exhaust gas recirculation system and the hose 5 supplying exhaust gas to the intake manifold (see illustration).
4.3 Remove the intake manifold together with the mechanical valve 6 of the exhaust gas recirculation system and the hose 5 supplying exhaust gas to the intake manifold
Caution! Inspect hose 5 and sealing rings and make sure they are not worn or deformed. If necessary, install a new hose.
Installation of the intake manifold is performed in the reverse order of removal.
4. Fasten clamps 3 and 4 to the exhaust gas supply hose as shown in the illustration.

5. Install the new intake manifold sealing gasket 7 (see illustration).
