25. Turn on the ignition.
26. Make sure that the gearshift lever position indicator on the panel matches the position of the lever.
27. Run the starter for a while.
28. Set the gearshift lever to the "N" position.
29. Check the control lever lock when moving it from position "3" to position "2" and from position "D" to position "N": if the lock does not work in position "O", then loosen the tightening of adjusting nut 1, if it does not work in position "3", then tighten adjusting nut 1 (see illustration), thereby decreasing or increasing the length of the cable traction.
30. Similarly, check the control lever lock when moving it from position "2" to position "1".
