Mechanical EGR valve — removal and installation (Peugeot Eurovans 807)

Caution! To remove the mechanical valve, the vehicle must be supported on jack stands.


Removal



1. Remove the engine compartment protection.

2. Unscrew nuts 1 and remove clamp 2 (see illustration).

The tightening torque for the nuts is 10 Nm, and for the clamp 15 Nm.

3. Disconnect pipeline 3 from valve 4 (see illustration 7.2).

4. Unscrew nut 5 and move the exhaust gas cooling radiator to the side (see illustration 7.2). Tightening torque of the nut is 30 Nm.

5. Remove the mechanical EGR valve 4 (see illustration 7.2).

The valve is installed in the reverse order of its removal.

6. Replace the valve sealing gasket and nut 5.
