Headlight leveling switch (Peugeot Partner I)

The direction of the headlight beams can be adjusted depending on the vehicle load. The corresponding switch (figure 4) has five positions (0, 1, 2, 3). A higher number corresponds to a higher load. Headlights must be adjusted so that the light falling on the road provides sufficient illumination without blinding oncoming drivers.



Recommended settings:

• 0 — Driver or driver and one passenger.
• −−A driver and two passengers.
• 1 - Driver and four passengers.
• 2 - Driver, four passengers and luggage.
• 3 - Driver and maximum permitted payload.

Between positions 1 and 2 and positions 2 and 3, intermediate positions are possible.
