Pic. 5. Wiper/washer switch
Windshield wiper Do not turn on the windshield wipers if the windows are dry. In extreme cold or very hot weather, make sure the wipers are not frozen or stuck to the glass before operating the wipers. Before turning on the wipers in winter, first clean the glass of adhering snow and ice.
The windshield wipers are controlled by changing the position of the lever itself. The windshield wiper switch has the following positions:
- O - Initial position of the lever. Windscreen wipers off.
- I - Transfer to the first fixed position up. Intermittent cleaning mode.
- 1 - Transfer to the second fixed position up. Normal operating mode.
- 2 - Transfer to the third fixed position up. High-speed cleaning mode.
- 3 - Transfer to the first fixed position down. Single cleaning mode (one cleaning cycle).
Windshield washer
To turn on the windshield washer, pull the lever towards you (to the steering wheel). The wipers will perform three intermittent cleaning cycles.
Rear window cleaner
The rear window wiper is controlled by a cap-shaped rotary switch located at the end of the lever. The rear window wiper switch has three positions:
- Initial position of the lever. Rear window wiper off.
- Transfer to the first fixed position by turning the switch. Intermittent cleaning mode.
- Transfer to the second fixed position by turning the switch. Operation of the rear window wiper and washer in time-delayed mode (three cleaning cycles).
Note. The rear window wiper is activated automatically if reverse gear is engaged while the windshield wipers are running. Your dealer can disable this feature.
