Attention! Many of the procedures in this chapter require the fuel lines to be disconnected. This may cause some fuel to leak out. Before any work on the fuel system, refer to the precautions described at the beginning of the manual in paragraph «Safety first!», and follow them. Gasoline is a very dangerous and volatile liquid. Taking precautions when working with it will never be superfluous.
Note. Residual pressure remains in the fuel lines long after the vehicle was last used. Before working on any part of the fuel system, first depressurize the fuel system as described in paragraph 7.
