Installing rack and pinion steering
1, 2 – washers, 3 – rack and pinion steering gear, 4 – crossmember
Changes have been made to the crossmembers and steering gear housings, which has resulted in modifications to the installation of the pads between the steering gear and the crossmember, as well as under the bolts. The installation method and values shown in the figure and tables must be observed.
