Examination



1. With the engine not running, set the wheels to move straight ahead.

2. Check the oil level in the tank.

3. Add enough oil so that its level is between the two marks. The oil level should never be below the "mini" mark.

Replacement



1. Place the car over a pit or on a lift. Disconnect the battery.

2. Drain the oil from the hydraulic circuit by disconnecting the high-pressure hose from the separating valve. Finish draining the oil from the circuit by turning the steering wheel several times in both directions until it stops.

3. Check that the high and low pressure connections are securely fastened.

4. Pour 0.3 dm³ of oil into the pump tank.

5. With the engine not running, slowly turn the steering wheel in both directions until it stops.

6. Add oil to the tank to the required level.

7. Start the engine.

8. Remove air from the circuit by turning the front wheels several times in both directions until they stop and adding oil as the level in the reservoir drops.
