Fuel line and injectors
1. Remove ground wire from battery.
2. Relieve pressure in the fuel system.
3. Remove the sensor tube on the pressure regulator and unscrew the regulator mounting bolt.
4. Remove the electrical connectors from the injectors.
5. Unscrew the fuel supply hoses.
6. Unscrew the four bolts from the fuel line and, lifting up, remove the line.
7. Remove the brackets securing the injectors to the line and remove them.
8. Check the condition of the O-rings and replace if necessary.
9. Clean the nozzle tips using cleaning fluid.
Throttle position potentiometer
1. Remove ground wire from battery.
2. Loosen the bracket and remove the connector from the potentiometer.
3. Unscrew the two screws and remove the potentiometer from the throttle shaft.
Auxiliary air valve for idle speed
The auxiliary air valve is installed on the back of the intake manifold.
1. Remove ground wire from battery.
2. Loosen the bracket and remove the connector from the air valve.
3. Remove the vacuum hoses from the auxiliary air valve.
4. Remove the valve from the rubber holder by pulling it to the side.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor
The sensor is located on the right side of the engine compartment.
1. Remove ground wire from battery.
2. Loosen the nut and remove the sensor.
3. Remove the electrical connector and vacuum hose.
Intake air temperature sensor
The air temperature sensor is screwed into the air filter cover.
1. Remove ground wire from battery.
2. Remove electrical connector.
3. Unscrew the sensor and remove it.
Crankshaft position sensor
The crankshaft sensor is located on the front side of the gearbox housing.
1. Remove ground wire from battery.
2. Route the wiring from the sensor to the wiring connector, and disconnect it from the main harness.
3. Unscrew the mounting bolt and use the lever to remove the sensor from the rubber sealing ring.
