A constantly on indicator indicates a malfunction or failure of the corresponding unit or system of the vehicle.

Parking brake and brake fluid level drop indicator

The indicator lights up when the parking brake is on or not fully released and when the brake fluid level in the reservoir drops below the permissible limit (the indicator remains on even after the parking brake is completely released). If the indicator comes on, stop immediately and eliminate the cause of its lighting.

Central fault indicator

It is connected to the engine oil pressure drop indicator. If the indicator comes on, stop immediately.

Low battery indicator

The indicator lights up when:

• failure of the battery charging circuit;
• loosening of the battery or starter terminals;
• breakage or loosening of the alternator drive belt;
• generator failure.

ABS malfunction indicator

The indicator lights up when the ABS is not working properly. The brake system operates normally.

Engine oil pressure drop indicator

It is connected to the central malfunction indicator. If the indicator comes on, stop immediately. The indicator lights up when there is insufficient oil pressure or no oil pressure in the engine lubrication system. If necessary, add oil to the required level.

Coolant level drop alarm

If the indicator comes on, stop immediately. Allow the engine to cool before adding coolant. Keep in mind that there is excess pressure in the cooling system. Before removing the expansion tank cap, turn it first to the first mark to reduce the pressure in the system.

Diesel Engine Glow Plug Indicator

Start the engine only after the indicator goes out.

Diesel fuel filter water ingress alarm (depending on the country of delivery)

Urgently remove water from the filter, for which contact the service station. The high-pressure fuel pump may fail.

Automatic on-board engine diagnostic system indicator

The indicator lights up when there is a problem with the fuel injection system or ignition system. If the car is equipped with a catalytic converter, it may be damaged.

Coolant temperature gauge

The position of the arrow in the middle of the scale corresponds to the normal engine temperature. An increase in the coolant temperature can be caused by the following reasons:

• electric fan failure. Check fuses and replace faulty ones;
• coolant leak. Check the coolant level on a cooled engine. Before removing the expansion tank cap, turn it first to the first mark in order to reduce the pressure in the cooling system;
• water pump failure;
• loose or broken drive belt.

Minimum fuel level indicator in the tank

The indicator turns on if the remaining fuel in the tank does not exceed 7 liters. The tank capacity is about 70 liters.

Front brake pad wear limit indicator

If the indicator lights up, replace the brake pads as soon as possible.

Door open alarm

It will burn until all doors are tightly closed.

Front airbags

Side airbags

The indicators light for 6 seconds after the ignition is turned on, then go out. There may be a malfunction of the airbag if:

• the indicator does not light when the ignition is turned on;
• the alarm does not go out after 6 seconds;
• the indicator flashes for 5 minutes and then remains on.

Sound signal, headlight signal, direction indicators

If you press the lever when the outside lights are off (indicated by the arrow) towards you, the side lights will light up or the low beam headlights will turn on. In the latter case, you should not overcome the force of the limiter. The headlight signaling is also turned on when the ignition is off.
