The catalytic converter is a device that requires attention and caution during vehicle operation.

Use only unleaded gasoline.

Refuel promptly as soon as the minimum fuel level indicator lights up in the tank: insufficient fuel may cause engine misfires.

It is prohibited to use any additives to engine oil - this can lead to serious damage and failure of the catalytic converter. Use only those fuel additives recommended by Peugeot.

If possible, frequent, consecutive engine starts at low temperatures should be avoided.

Do not force the engine crankshaft speed.

Do not increase engine speed immediately before turning off the ignition.

Avoid parking on flammable waste (dry leaves or grass), because the exhaust gases from the engine have a high temperature.

If you have difficulty starting the engine, do not continue unsuccessfully trying to start the engine. Also, do not tow or push the engine, as unburned fuel can damage the catalytic converter.

If there are interruptions in the ignition system or loss of engine power, reduce speed and contact a service station as soon as possible.

If there is increased noise, check the condition of the exhaust system.
