Fuel filter replacement (30,000 km) (Peugeot 406)

The fuel filter is located in a plastic housing at the front of the engine.

1. Place a container under the fuel filter drain hose, loosen the fuel filter water drain screw and completely drain the fuel from the fuel filter.

2. Unscrew the four bolts securing the fuel filter cover and remove the cover.



3. Remove the filter from the housing.

4. Install the new fuel filter and cap.

5. Coat the threaded portion of the bolts with a compound that prevents loosening and tighten the bolts.

6. Close the fuel filter water drain screw.
