Removal water from the fuel filter (10,000 km/12 months) (Peugeot 406)

The drain plug and pipe are located at the base of the fuel filter housing.

1. Place a suitable container under the drain pipe.

2. Open the drain plug by turning it counterclockwise.



3. Drain the water until clean fuel flows out of the drain pipe, then close the drain plug (indicated by the arrow).

4. Start the engine. If the engine is difficult to start, the fuel system is leaky.
