The oil pan is actually a plate attached to the lower part of the engine crankcase. After draining the oil from the engine, removing the oil pan is not a problem. One of the mounting bolts is a centering bolt, which means that the bolts must be marked when unscrewing them.
When installing the oil pan, install a new gasket. Tighten all bolts evenly around the circumference to a torque of 11 Nm. Afterward, run the engine and check for any leaks in the oil pan/engine connection.
