Hood release handle (Peugeot Partner I)

The hood release handle is located in the left corner under the front panel and is painted red for easy identification (figure 18)



To open the hood:

• Pull the handle towards you.
• Reach under the hood just to the left of the center and lift the safety latch located on the edge of the hood.
• Raise the hood. Release the support post from its clip and insert it into the corresponding socket on the underside of the hood.

Warning. Make sure the rack is properly secured to avoid injury from the hood falling.

Warning. When working in the engine compartment after the engine has recently been turned off, use extreme caution. Engine components reach very high temperatures. Wait for the engine to cool down.

To close the hood:

• Hold the hood in place with one hand and use the other hand to release the support rod from its socket on the underside of the hood and secure it in the appropriate clamp.
• Carefully lower the hood, holding it, and let it fall freely from a height of approximately 20 cm. The hood will close automatically. Do not apply excessive force.
