2. Disconnect the release bearing spring clips from the clutch release fork and remove the release bearing (see photo).

3. The clutch release fork can be pressed or pulled out of the ball joint. The rotary bushing is replaced as follows.
4. Drill out the rivets holding the old bushing and remove it.
5. Install a new bushing on the fork and insert its rivets into the holes. Heat the rivets with a gas torch and flatten their heads while they are still hot.
6. Apply a small amount of grease to the bushing and install the clutch release fork. Press it onto the ball joint until it snaps into place.
