2. Drain the coolant from the system.
3. Remove the alternator V-belt.
4. Unscrew the three crankshaft pulley mounting bolts and remove the pulley.
5. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the three-piece timing belt cover.
6. Turn the crankshaft (for the crankshaft pulley bolt) to a position in which it is possible to insert a 6 mm diameter mounting rod, which serves to fix the flywheel (in the rear wall of the cylinder block), as well as a 10 mm diameter installation rod for fixing the camshaft (in the front wall of the cylinder head).
7. Loosen the timing belt tensioner roller bolt and remove the timing belt from the coolant pump pulley.

8. Unscrew the bolts securing the coolant pump to the cylinder block and remove the pump.

9. Remove the sealing gasket from the pump.
10. The pump is installed in the reverse order.
