Removal the oil pump (Peugeot 405)

1. Drain the oil from the engine by unscrewing the drain plug in the oil pan.

2. Remove the oil pan by unscrewing the corresponding mounting bolts.

3. Unscrew the three bolts securing the oil pump to the cylinder block.

4. Remove the gasket from under the pump, tilt the pump and remove the chain from the pump sprocket, leaving it in the cylinder block.
