2. Remove the battery and its holder.
3. Disconnect the gear shift control cable from the selector lever.
4. Remove the automatic transmission selector lever.
5. Modify the standard flat lining in the sequence shown in the figures.
6. Install the modified lining in place of the selector lever and secure it with the previously unscrewed nut.
7. Drill the sealing ring with a 2.5 mm drill bit through the small holes in the lining. This is necessary to loosen the ring and make it easier to remove.
8. Unscrew the nut and screw two self-tapping screws into the large holes of the lining.
9. Place special tool 3084 T under the machined lining and remove the sealing ring.
10. Lubricate the new sealing ring and install it using a bushing of the appropriate diameter.
11. Install the selector lever and connect it to the gear shift control cable.
12. Install the battery and its holder.
