1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal, wait 2 minutes and remove the center console. Remove the electrical connector from the security system control unit.
Driver side airbag
2. Remove the 2 airbag mounting screws located at the rear of the steering wheel. Turn the steering wheel to access the screws.

3. Set the steering wheel to straight ahead and remove the airbag from it. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear of the airbag.

4. To install, connect the electrical connector to the airbag, position the airbag in the center of the steering wheel and secure with screws, tightening them to the required torque. First, screw in the left mounting screw.
5. Connect the electrical connector to the airbag control unit and install the center console.

6. Make sure there is no one inside the car and connect the battery. Turn the key in the ignition through the open door and check the operation of the security system by the control lamp lighting up.
Passenger side airbag
7. Remove the instrument panel.

8. Unscrew the nuts (indicated by arrows) airbag mounts and remove it from the dashboard.
9. Install the airbag into the instrument panel and secure with nuts.
10. Install the instrument panel and connect the battery.
Airbag control unit

11. Unscrew the nuts (indicated by arrows) fasteners and remove the airbag control unit from the vehicle.
12. Install the airbag control unit so that the arrow on the top of the unit points toward the front of the vehicle. Secure the unit with nuts, tightening them to the specified torque.
13. Connect the electrical connector to the block and install the center console.
14. Make sure there is no one inside the car and connect the battery. Turn on the ignition through the open door and check the safety system by turning on the airbag indicator light.

15. Remove the driver's side airbag and remove the steering wheel. Set the front wheels to drive straight ahead.

16. Unscrew the screws securing the lower steering column cover and remove the upper and lower covers.

17. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cruise control system or the car radio switch.

18. Follow the wire down from the airbag connector and disconnect the electrical connector located on the wire.

19. Unscrew the screws (indicated by arrows in the photo on the left) and remove the contact from the top of the steering column (photo on the right).

20. Before installation, check that the airbag contact is installed in accordance with the marks (indicated by arrows) on top of the contact and that the front wheels are set to move straight ahead.
21. Install the airbag contact, check the wiring for correct placement, and secure the contact with screws.
22. Connect the electrical connector of the wire going to the airbag terminal.
23. Connect the electrical connector for the cruise control or car radio and install the covers on the steering column.
24. Install the steering wheel and airbag.
