Attention! Old brake fluid is darker in color than new.
The operation for replacing the brake fluid is similar to the operation for bleeding the brakes, except that the brake fluid reservoir must first be emptied of the old brake fluid.
1. Open the first bleed valve and pump the brake pedal until the old brake fluid comes out of the brake master cylinder.
2. Fill up to mark "max" new brake fluid into the reservoir and pump again until new brake fluid appears in the bleeder, then screw the bleeder. Similarly pump over brake contours of other wheels.
3. When bleeding, do not allow the brake fluid level in the reservoir to drop below the mark "min". Otherwise, air may enter the hydraulic brake system.
4. Check the tightness of the bleeder fittings, install dust caps on them and wipe off traces of brake fluid.
5. Check the operation of the brake system when the vehicle is moving at low speed.
