Right sealing ring

1. Remove the camshaft pulley.

2. Remove the sealing ring using a special tool. Alternatively, drill two small holes in the end of the sealing ring, screw in two self-tapping screws and use pliers to pull the sealing ring out of its seat by the screw heads.

3. Clean the O-ring seat and the sealing surface of the camshaft.

4. Lubricate the new O-ring with clean engine oil and install it on the camshaft.

5. Press the sealing ring into the socket using an M10 bolt with a suitable washer.

6. Install the camshaft pulley.

Left camshaft seal ring

The left camshaft seal is an O-ring. The O-ring can be replaced after unscrewing the bolt from the cylinder head plate.
