1. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
2. Measure the installation depth of the O-ring.
3. Remove the O-ring using the special tool. Alternatively, drill two small holes in the end of the o-ring, screw in two self-tapping screws and use pliers, behind the screw heads, to pull the o-ring out of its socket.
4. Clean the O-ring seat and crankshaft sealing surface.
5. Dip a new O-ring in clean engine oil and install it into the seat to the pre-measured depth using an appropriate drift.
6. Install the crankshaft pulley.
