15. Remove the timing belt of the gas distribution mechanism drive (see the relevant chapter).

16. Remove the clutch cover.

17. Lock the flywheel with stop "a", catalog number of which is 0153-ZX (see illustration). Lock the crankshaft by installing a suitable thrust pin in the appropriate hole.

18. Unscrew bolt 3 and remove crankshaft gear 4 (see illustration). Remove the front crankshaft oil seal.

19. Fit a new front crankshaft oil seal 5 with a suitable mandrel, for example mandrel "a", part number 0187-G, pressing the mandrel with bolt 3 (see illustration).

20. Next, the installation of the dismantled components is carried out in the reverse order of removal.



21. Tighten bolt 3 of the crankshaft gear with a torque of 40 Nm, then turn the bolt by 80°.
