2. Install the upper right engine mount.
3. Remove the stop that was used to lock the camshaft.
4. Lock the camshaft gear using a special key "a", catalog number 0187-F (see illustrations 5.4 and 2.13a) and unscrew the hub mounting bolt.

5. Remove the camshaft gear together with the hub 1 (see illustration 5.4).
6. Remove the camshaft oil seal.
7. Make sure that the seal seats are clean; if necessary, remove any remaining sealant.
8. Lubricate the sealing lips of the new oil seal with clean engine oil. Do not lubricate the outer edge of the seal.
9. Drive in the new camshaft seal using a suitable mandrel, such as mandrel "a" 0187-D (see illustration 4.34).
10. Secure the camshaft hub with bolt 13 (see illustration 4.34).
11. Remove the upper right engine mount.
12. Install the camshaft gears together with the hubs 5. Flange C of the intake camshaft gear should face away from the engine, and flange C of the exhaust camshaft gear should face toward the engine (see illustration 4.38).
Please note: The camshaft gears are identical and interchangeable.
13. Lock the gears using a special key "a", catalog number 0187-F (see illustrations 4.38 and 2.13a), and tighten the bolts of their fastening either immediately with a force of 30 Nm, or in several passes
- 1st pass - tighten the bolts to 20 Nm:
- 2nd pass - tighten the bolts by 57°.
14. Next, the installation of the dismantled components is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
