- drain the oil from the gearbox;
- remove the drive shafts;

- using puller 0338-C, remove the right axle shaft sealing ring from its socket in the crankcase (see Figure 5.61).
To install the drive shaft sealing rings:
- clean the installation area of the sealing rings;
- lubricate the working edges of the new sealing rings with oil before installing them in place;
- using mandrels 0338-J1 and 0338-J2, install the right axle shaft sealing ring;
- using mandrels 0338-H1 and 0338-H2, install the right axle shaft sealing ring;
- install the axle shafts;
- fill the gearbox with oil and check its level;
- initialize the oil aging counter.
