Removal



1. The sensor is located on the front side of the cylinder block above the oil filter.

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

3. Remove the protective cover covering the sensor electrical connector and disconnect the connector.

4. Unscrew the sensor from the cylinder block and plug the hole with a suitable plug.

Installation



1. Check the sensor seal and replace if necessary.

2. Screw the sensor into the cylinder block and tighten to the appropriate torque.

3. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
