1. If any problems occur in the engine management system, check that the air filter element is clean, the spark plugs are in good condition and have the correct gaps, the engine ventilation hoses are not clogged and the accelerator cable is adjusted correctly.
2. Then check the compression pressure in the cylinders and the valve clearances.
3. If the checks carried out do not determine the cause of the deterioration in engine performance, it is necessary to have the engine checked at a Peugeot station.
