Attention! When laying the chain on the camshaft sprocket of the front cylinder head, mark 7 on the sprocket must be centered between marks 8 on the chain links. At the same time, mark 9 on the timing chain sprocket must align with mark 10 on the chain (see illustration 3.0).

21. Turn the crankshaft clockwise one turn, and then tighten it another 240°. Mark 12 on the drive sprocket of the timing mechanism should be set opposite mark 15 on the chain, and mark 13 on the camshaft sprocket - between marks 14 on the chain (see illustration).
