47. Install stop 45, which limits the axial runout of the camshaft, having lubricated the thread of the stop mounting bolt 44 with Loctite Frenetanch. Apply a thin layer of Molykote spray to surface A (see illustration).
4.47 Install stop 45, lubricating the thread of stop mounting bolt 44 with Loctite Frenetanch
48. Install hooks 51 made of 3 mm diameter wire into the holes for the centering bushings 49, then insert the bushings and push the bushings with hooks to the desired height (see illustration).
4.48 Install hooks 51 made of 3 mm diameter wire into the holes for centering bushings 49, and then insert the bushings
49. Place new sealing gaskets and cylinder heads on the cylinder blocks and secure them by screwing in the timing gear protective cover mounting bolts.

50. Install the sprockets with the drive chain on the camshafts, screw in and tighten the sprocket mounting bolts with a force of 80 Nm.
51. Install the distributor, exhaust pipes, oil cooler and oil filter.
52. Connect the catalytic converters to the inlet pipes and screw in the lambda probes.
Attention! Tightening of cylinder head bolts is performed in several passes, acting in the sequence of increasing numbering.
53. Screw in the cylinder head mounting bolts and tighten them to 60 Nm, acting in ascending order of bolt numbering (see illustration).

54. Loosen the bolts completely.
55. Tighten the head bolts to 40 Nm and then turn them 180° further with a torque wrench using an angle template (see illustration).
4.55 Tighten the head bolts to 40 Nm and then turn them 180° further with a torque wrench using an angle gauge
56. Remove the devices that held the chain on the drive shaft sprockets and install the camshaft seals.
57. Screw the plug into the hole on the timing cover, which closes access to the camshaft sprocket mounting bolt. The tightening torque of the plug is 20 Nm.
58. Tighten the bolts securing the valve timing cover to the cylinder head with a force of 12.5 Nm.
59. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
60. Clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder head covers, apply silicone sealant to the sealing surfaces of the covers, lay the covers and tighten bolts 52 and 53 of their fastening (see illustration).
4.60 Screw in and tighten the cylinder head cover mounting bolts
Attention! The tightening torque for bolts 52 with a socket head is 15 Nm, and for bolts 53 with a hexagonal head - 12.5 Nm.
