Mirror
Removal
1. On models with heated mirrors, remove the door trim and peel the plastic film away from the door to access the electrical connectors.

2. Disconnect the connectors.

3. Using a lever, remove the mirror trim plate from the inner front corner of the door.
4. Loosen the screw and remove the regulator knob from the trim plate.

5. Remove the seal.

6. Remove the sealing ring.

7. Unscrew four screws (indicated by arrows) mirror mounts.

8. Remove the mirror from the outside.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Mirror glass
There are many different methods used to attach mirror glass.
On some mirrors, the glass cannot be replaced and the entire mirror assembly must be replaced.
On early models the glass may be secured using adhesive plates, on later types of mirror the glass may be supported by a wiring harness bracket or a locking ring.
Removal

1. To remove the mirror glass secured with a locking ring, tilt the glass completely upward, then insert a screwdriver into the bottom of the glass and detach the locking ring.

2. To remove the mirror glass secured with a bracket (in the picture on the left) electrical wiring, release the fastening bracket from the bottom edge of the glass.

3. Remove the mirror glass and disconnect the electrical wiring.
Glass adjustment mechanism
The mirror adjustment mechanism is a composite with the mirror assembly. If it is faulty, the mirror assembly must be replaced.
