Hood lock — removal and installation (Peugeot 405)

Removal

1. Open the hood.



2. Unscrew the two bolts securing the lock.

3. Remove the lock and disconnect the hood release cable from the lock lever.

Installation

1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

2. If necessary, adjust the position of the hood lock strike plate (loosen the lock nut to allow the strike plate to move).
