Towing at the front of the car
Lift up the socket cover with the flat end of the towing eye that comes with the spare wheel and screw in the towing eye as far as it will go.
Towing behind the back of the car
Open the socket cover by pressing it with your hand from under the bumper. Screw in the towing eye until it stops.
Towing a car with an automatic transmission
Towing should be done with the front wheels raised. If this is not possible, then:
- put the gearshift lever in position N;
- tow the car at a speed of no more than 70 km/h for a distance of no more than 200 km;
- do not add oil to the gearbox.
