All-wheel towing
To tow a vehicle with all wheels supported, a towing bar should be used.
The removable towing eye is stored inside the spare tire.
On station wagons, the removable towing eye is stored in a trim recess on the right side of the luggage compartment.
Towing by the front of the vehicle
Open the socket cover by prying it from the bottom.

Screw the towing eye in until it stops (figure 1.57).
Towing by the rear of the car
Open the socket cover by prying it from the top with a coin.

Screw the towing eye in until it stops (figure 1.58).
Towing with both wheels raised
It is advisable to lift the vehicle using a lifting device specially designed for this purpose.
Features of towing a car with an automatic transmission
When towing with all wheels supported, the following requirements must be met:
- set the mode selector to the "N" position;
- tow the vehicle at a speed of no more than 50 km/h for a distance of no more than 50 km;
- it is prohibited to add oil to the gearbox.
Caution! When towing a vehicle with the engine off, the brake and steering boosters will not function.
