To unlock the hood, press the lever located on the left under the instrument panel - the hood will be released from the locking device and will rise upward under the action of the spring (figure 1.56).
From outside the vehicle, press the release lever and lift the hood.
Secure the hood in the open position using the stop.
To close the hood, remove the support to the designated place.
Lower the hood slightly and release it. Check that the hood is securely locked.
If the hood is not tightly closed, then when the engine is started and while the car is moving, the "STOP" indicator will flash on the display, accompanied by a buzzer signal and a pictogram depicting a car with an open hood.
