Checking the clutch operation (15,000 km/12 months) (Peugeot 406)

All petrol engine models covered in this manual are equipped with a cable operated, self-adjusting clutch mechanism which is low maintenance. The only maintenance required is to check that the clutch pedal moves smoothly and easily throughout its travel and that the clutch operates normally without slipping or dragging.
