1. Drive the car for a short time to bring the transmission up to normal temperature. Then stop the car on a flat horizontal surface. The oil level is checked with a dipstick located on the front side of the engine compartment just before connecting the engine to the gearbox. The top of the probe has a bright color.
2. With the engine idling, with the hand and foot brakes applied, move the selector lever through all positions and return to position «R» (Park). In this selector position, check the oil level. It should be between the bottom (A) and top (b) marks.
3. If the oil level is low, add it through the dipstick hole. Note. Never allow the oil level to be above the upper mark.
4. Then take a test drive and check the level again.
5. Always keep the oil level between the two marks on the dipstick. Lack of oil can lead to serious damage to the gearbox.
6. If it becomes necessary to add oil frequently, then there is a leak that must be found and repaired as long as it does not lead to serious consequences.
