Checking the front brake pads (30,000 km) (Peugeot 406)

1. Apply the handbrake, raise the front of the car, secure it on stands and remove the front wheels.

2. For a complete check, remove and thoroughly clean the brake pads. At the same time, you can check the action of the caliper and both sides of the brake disc.



3. Check the thickness of the brake pads (indicated by arrows).

4. If the brake pad lining is worn to the minimum permissible thickness, replace all four pads as a set.
