Checking the front disc brake pads (Peugeot Partner I)

1. Fully apply the parking brake. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely (see "Lifting and installing the car on supports"). Remove the front wheels.

2. If, as a result of wear, the thickness of the friction material on any pad has reached the minimum or has gone beyond its limit, all four pads should be replaced as a set.

3. For a thorough inspection, the brake pads should be removed and cleaned. At the same time, you can also check the operation of the caliper and carefully inspect the brake disc on both sides. For more information, please contact chapter 9.

Tip: A quick check of the friction material thickness on each brake pad can be made through the opening in the brake caliper.
