Lifting and installing the car on supports (Peugeot Partner I)

The jack included with your vehicle's tool kit should only be used to change a wheel (see "Changing a wheel" at the beginning of this Guide). When performing any other work, the vehicle should be lifted using a hydraulic rolling jack, and be sure to install reliable supports under the vehicle in addition to the jack, which should be placed under specially designated places.

When using a hydraulic jack or secure supports, be sure to position the jack head or the top end of the support under the appropriate jack mounting location on the bottom trim (see picture).



To raise the front of the vehicle, place a jack under the center of the front subframe with a block of wood on the jack head. Do not place a jack under the oil pan or under any steering or suspension components.

To raise the rear of the vehicle, position the jack so that its head is positioned under the center of the rear axle cross member. Do not attempt to lift the vehicle using the jack located under the spare tire, as this will cause damage to the vehicle floor.



The jack supplied with the vehicle is installed under the special jack mounting points provided on the lower trim beam. Before lifting the vehicle, make sure the jack head is properly secured.

Never work under or near a raised vehicle unless it is securely supported in at least two places.
