Trunk lid
1 – cover, 2 – overlay, 3 – rubber seal, 4 – spring, 5 – hinge
Removal
1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Mark the position of the hinges relative to the trunk lid with paint.
3. Remove the springs that hold the trunk in the open position.
4. Unscrew the four fastening elements of the trunk lid (two per side). This action must be performed by two people.
5. Remove the cover from its socket.
Installation
1. Install the cover in the hinge fastening elements. This operation should be performed by two people.
2. Check and use hinges to adjust the gaps between the trunk lid and the rest of the body elements.
3. Fasten the loops.

4. Install the spring that holds the trunk in the open position (the arrow indicates the bracket for fastening the trunk spring).

5. Adjust the stops (indicated by the arrow), which determine the height of the trunk opening.
6. Use a stream of water to check if the trunk is leaking. One person with a flashlight should be inside the trunk, and the second person should direct the stream of water at the trunk.
7. If a leak is detected in the trunk, use the hinges and the latch to lower the lid slightly.
8. If the seal is cracked, it should be replaced.
9. Lubricate the seal with special grease.
10. While driving, check whether the trunk vibrates.
