Front door glass
Using the glass release tool on pre-1992 models
1 – plastic bracket protrusions, 2 – plastic bracket, 3 – window glass, 4 – tool
Removal
1. Remove the door trim.
2. Lower the glass to 2/3 of its height.
3. Peel off the plastic film on the door frame.
4. Remove the lower glass seals.
5. Partially remove the glass seals from the rear and upper window frame.
6. If present, disconnect the electrical connector from the window motor and move the wiring harness to the side.
7. Temporarily cover the glass with adhesive tape on the outside so that it does not fall inside the door during the removal process.
8. Release the bracket securing the window glass to the window lift mechanism.
9. On models up to 1992, a special tool Peugeot (-) 7.1309 must be used to release the window retaining clip. The tool can be made by drilling a hole of suitable diameter into a small plate.
10. Slide the tool onto the back of the bracket to compress the tabs and at the same time push the window glass into the door frame to release it from the bracket (see picture Using the glass release tool on pre-1992 models).
11. On models from 1993 onwards, the bracket is mounted behind the glass. The bracket can be released by turning it a quarter turn.
12. Peel off the tape while holding the glass with your hand.
13. Remove the glass by pulling it up and out of the door.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following points.
2. On pre-1992 models, check to make sure the bracket that holds the glass to the window regulator is securely fastened.
3. To make it easier to install the seals in place, wet them with soapy water.
4. If the plastic seal film was damaged during removal, install a new film.
5. Install door trim.

Glass raising and lowering mechanism

Removal
1. Remove the front door glass.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the window lift motor.
3. Unscrew three nuts (indicated by arrows), securing the window lift mechanism to the door.
4. Unscrew the two nuts securing the window guide to the door.
5. Tilt the window regulator and remove it through the lower window of the inner part of the door.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Lowering rear door window glass

Removal and installation
1. Perform the same steps as for removing the front door glass (see above) (taking into account the following points).
2. Lower the window glass completely.
3. Before removing the glass, remove the rear glass guide, which is screwed with two screws (see figure Fastening the rear guide of the lowering rear door window).
Rear fixed glass of the rear door
Removal
1. Remove the door trim.
2. Remove the protective film from the inside of the door.
3. Unscrew the two screws securing the rear glass guide.
4. Remove the lower inner and outer seals of the lowering rear door glass.
5. Remove the upper and rear rear door glass seal.
6. Lower the rear glass guide into the door.
7. Move forward and remove the rear fixed glass with seal from the door (A – glass guide, B – seal).
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal (taking into account the following points).
2. To make it easier to install the seals in place, wet them with soapy water.
3. If the plastic seal film was damaged during removal, install a new film.
4. Install door trim.
Rear door window lifter
Perform the same steps as for removing the front door window regulator (see above).
