- remove the inner door trim;
- remove the plastic inserts from the upper part of the insulating gasket, then carefully remove the gasket so that access to the handle and door lock opens;
Note. When removing the gasket, it is easy to damage it. In this case, cut it off and replace it. At the rear door, remove the speaker and its housing before removing the insulating gasket.

- remove the seal from the top of the door (pic. 11.47), remembering its location;
- lower the window about 2/3 of the way to make it easier to access the locks and guides of the power window;
Note. The front door glass has two retainers and two power window guides, the rear door glass has one retainer and one guide.

- squeeze the latches 1 with a screwdriver (pic. 11.48), then remove the glass from the power window guides and carefully slide the glass out through the top of the door.
Install the glass in the following order:
- Install the glass in place and align it with the window guides. Make sure the glass is secured with clips;
- install the seal at the top of the door;

- check the operation of the power window, then install the insulating gasket;
Note. In case you are installing a new gasket, remove the old adhesive with a solvent. Align the gasket with the door, then insert the liners and glue the gasket 1 (pic. 11.49) to door.
- install the speaker on the back door;
- install the interior door trim.
