Sedan models
Removal
1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and secure it on stands.

2. Remove the rear wheel arch liners (access to the rear wheel arch liners can be improved by removing the rear wheels).
3. Unscrew the bolts securing the side part of the bumper (one bolt on each side).
4. Working underneath the base of the bumper, unscrew the two lower bumper mounting bolts.
5. While working in the luggage compartment, locate the license plate light connector next to the left reverse light and disconnect the connector.
6. Pull the bumper out of the vehicle and remove the license plate light wiring harness through the grommet in the rear panel.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Combi models
Removal
1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and secure it on stands.
2. Remove the rear wheel arch liners (access to the rear wheel arch liners can be improved by removing the rear wheels).
3. On models with rear shields under the vehicle body located on both sides of the bumper, lower the rear section of the exhaust system to access the left rear shield.

4. Remove the rear shields under the car body to access the side bumper mounting bolts.

5. Unscrew the side bumper mounting bolts (one bolt on each side of the bumper).

6. Unscrew the two bolts securing the bumper to the body on each side and remove the bumper from the car.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
