Rear side seat belts (sedan models) (Peugeot 405)

Removal

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.

2. Unscrew the lower seat belt mounting bolt.



3. Remove the upper rear pillar trim.

4. Remove the rear panel trim located in front of the rear window.



5. Unscrew the bolt and remove the inertia drum.

6. Pull the belt through the slot in the rear shelf trim, then remove the seat belt assembly from the vehicle.

Installation

1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

2. Tighten the seat belt buckle mounting bolt very securely.
